Are We A Fit?

You are a soul-centred person who wants to improve their health...

I work with a variety of people, helping with a range of different mind-body health concerns - from living with chronic illness to spiritual awakening. However, the people who find my support programmes most useful are typically soul-centred, and want to learn more about life, spirituality, and health.

If you would work well with me, you are likely to be in one of these groups:

1 - You want to reduce stress, fatigue, or a chronic health issue:

Maybe you are an empath, healer, carer, counsellor, therapist, spiritual worker, or in a similar role, where you spend a lot of time helping others with their problems.

As a result, you are suffering with burnout, compassion fatigue, chronic illness, overwhelm, stress, or anxiety.

Perhaps you feel overwhelmed by a particular area of life - like your relationships, work, or family dynamics.

Or you just feel emotionally frazzled... You are worrying all the time, and can't seem to quiet your mind, or to stay in control of your emotions.

So, you want to improve your health, but you also want a practitioner who looks deeper than just the physical aspects of who you are. Someone who considers you as a whole person, and who will not judge or label you.

You are looking for practical guidance for reducing stress-related health issues, for dealing with everyday situations, and which also aligns with your personal values.

2 - You want to take a holistic approach to your health and wellbeing:

Holistic health encompasses all aspects of health, not just the physical.  It takes into account things like emotions, habits, relationships, diet, exercise, spirituality, and the ease with which we are able to interact with the world around us.

People who are interested in holistic health have a deeper approach to long-term wellbeing. It not only centres on you as an individual, but also takes into account how your health is impacted by your unique experiences in life.

So, perhaps you want to learn how to understand and control your mind, thoughts, and emotions.

Or maybe you want to learn how to use practices like mediation and mindfulness in your life.  To use natural therapies to boost your emotional wellbeing - like aromatherapy, acupressure or massage. Or simply to develop healthy habits like changing your diet, exercise, and self-care patterns.

Holistic living is about self-empowerment - taking responsibility for your own experience of life and health, and being accountable for the choices that you make, and how they impact you.

3 - You are a wisdom seeker, and on a path of personal or spiritual growth:

If you are a seeker, you are no doubt already deeply insightful, self-aware, and feel inspired to continue on your journey of self-realization or awakening.

You want to explore life on a deeper level, and you have a soulful approach to self-development. But you may well have reached a point where your depth of insight feels at odds with the world around you. Maybe you have reached a point where psychology no longer seems to fit in well with your spiritual view of life. Or you are struggling to make sense of suffering and to navigate it successfully.

Perhaps you are an empath, healer, or regular meditator, and you are becoming increasingly aware of the energetic nature of life - and you want to make sense of it within a spiritual context.

Or maybe you are genuinely trying to seek deeper spiritual insights, and you keep getting caught up in various paths which lead you nowhere, and to you just want to find the answers you are looking for.

If you resonate with any of these three groups, then we will most likely work well together.

We will also be likely to share similar approaches on important things...

Values

Authenticity, honesty, and integrity are important to you.

Personal growth is also high on your list of values, not because you want to 'win' or 'be the best', but because you simply want to be be the best version of yourself, so that you can make a difference in the world.

Compassion, empathy,  and caring for others are also high on your agenda of personal qualities which you consider highly.

Health and Wellbeing

You appreciate health in all it's complexity, and realise that wellbeing involves so much more than simply physical functioning, or following the expectations of how other people think you should be.

You value your wellbeing - and try to live authentically, to practice self-care, and to create balance in all areas of your life.

Perhaps most importantly, you do not look to other people to 'fix' you. You accept accountability for your own experience of life and health, and are willing to put in the effort to actively change the things which you would like to improve.

Spirituality

Spirituality is important to you, and you actively seek a deeper understanding of life and existence.

You may, or may not, follow a specific spiritual or religious path. But you do ascribe to a worldview which is based on kindness and respect for both yourself and others.

You fully accept the fact that other people may choose a different spiritual path to you, and that's ok. You have no desire to try to convert others to agreeing with your own spiritual beliefs, or arguing about why your path is the 'right' one.

You may find my approach aligns more closely with your own if you are interested in the wisdom traditions, or if you think that there is a shared core which underpins all religious or spiritual paths.

Mind and Consciousness

I am interested in exploring the fundamental nature of mind and consciousness on an existential level, rather than a cultural one. So, I may use a different approach than that of many psychological models and practices. If you are very attached to one specific mental health practice as being the only 'right' one, then you are probably not a good fit for working with me.

If you have an interest in awakening, or exploring the fundamental nature of consciousness, then you will be better aligned with my approach to mind, consciousness, and health.

So what do you think? Are we both approaching your evolving wisdom and  wellbeing from a similar point of view?

There's no right or wrong here.  But when you are looking for a coach or practitioner, it's important to find someone who aligns closely with your own values and worldview. Not all therapists and coaches are the same, and if you are on entirely different paths, you may end up feeling frustrated or misaligned. Surely it's much better to both actually enjoy working with each other?

I want to help and support people who are trying to live a soul-centred life, and who also want to improve their wellbeing in the process. If that sounds like you, please get in touch...
